Sleep Lab
Sleep
disorders are complex conditions that can prove difficult to diagnose.
Why? A variety of sleep disorders have similar symptoms. Also, symptoms
such as chronic fatigue and restless sleep can stem from either a sleep
disorder or a psychological/emotional illness. That’s why Jay County
Hospital works with your doctor to offer the most advanced diagnostic
sleep testing available.
If your physician determines that our Sleep Lab can help you, you’ll
visit our hospital for an overnight stay from 7p.m until 7 a.m. You’ll
enter a comfortable, private bedroom and simply go to sleep. The
Sleep Lab team will document your sleep patterns and collect other data
to diagnose your condition. The team will then compile and analyze the
results, develop a personalized treatment plan, and forward this information
to your personal physician.
