With warmer weather and sunshine just around the corner, golf season will soon be in full swing. That means it’s time for the 20^th Annual Jay County Hospital Foundation Golf Tournament. We are looking forward to another fun and successful day.

The money raised from the tournament will continue to fund our scholarship program. The program was established twelve years ago in an effort to provide financial assistance to students pursuing a healthcare profession and to, hopefully, encourage those students to return to Jay County Hospital to begin their careers. To date, we are proud to have awarded $114,000 to students majoring in nursing, pharmacy, radiology technology and other health related fields. In May, we will be awarding another $7,000 in new scholarships. The money raised in this annual event helps to ensure the scholarship program will continue to benefit area students.

Please plan to join us for this year’s golf tournament to be held Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at the Portland Golf Club. Registration will begin at 11:30 and the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30.  Please consider forming a team and participating in the fun as well as sponsoring a hole to promote your business. The attached form details different ways you can join the fun while supporting the Foundation.
