Our physicians who specialize in prenatal care, delivery and aftercare are Dr. Mark A. Haggenjos and Dr. R. Scott Frankenfield. Our surgeon, Dr. Herman Burgermeister performs cesarean deliveries when the need arises for the safety of the mother and baby.

Here are a few signs and symptoms to contact your childbirth physician or OB department:

• Pre-term labor less than 37 weeks
• Acute swelling
• Water bag breaks
• Contractions every 5 – 10 minutes apart
• Decrease in fetal movement
